The filter itself works fine, so I figured the company would be easy to deal with too, but the return and warranty side was kind of annoying. I assumed it would be a quick fix, then ended up sending multiple emails and getting asked for more info instead of just getting help. The return rules are strict too, so definitely read those before buying. Not a terrible experience, but I expected it to be smoother.

I got my Big Berkey put together quickly. The instructions were simple enough to follow, and nothing really felt confusing. I think it took me about 15 minutes, and I didn’t need any special tools. I also had the receipt and order email handy just in case, but I didn’t end up needing them. Really happy with it so far.

It ended up arriving a few days later than I expected, but nothing was damaged. Based on this one order, I’d assume delivery from them can be okay but maybe not super dependable timing-wise, so I’d probably order again only if I wasn’t in a rush.

The steel part feels solid enough, but the spigot comes off kind of cheap. that’s how these things always seem to be, one part feels sturdy and then some little piece feels like they cut corners.

Shipping was totally fine, and getting everything set up wasn’t too bad, though the fluoride filters did take some messing around with priming. My husband noticed the water tastes better, so that’s definitely a plus.
